TCT is often involved in trouble shooting specific cleaning issues in particular process applications, advice is given to improve the cleaning problems often supported by trials of the recommended technology to demonstrate that all the cleaning objectives can be met.

Commonly where all industries are working hard to maximise their operational efficiencies and minimise the waste of precious utilities, we get heavily involved in site wide surveys where all the CIP processes and applications are closely examined. From this a report is put together accurately confirming the existing CIP effectiveness, cleaning cycle times, volumes of water used and effluent to drain. From this an optimised CIP process can be put together, taking into account each individual tank size/design, product to be removed and level of clean required.

We use a tank cleaning simulation programme to maximise cleaning head performance and or 3D CAD to study coverage over the harder to reach inlet connections, manways and agitators etc.

All retrofit projects rely on a good payback to justify the investment and this is where we can assist in pulling the whole project together working from the initial survey, developing the report and recommendations, running the trial to demonstrate that the figures stack up, to final installation and commissioning.
